Strategies

CHSJ's aim of connecting to a larger population and strengthening the process of evidence-based policy change is spearheaded by its  core strategies. These strategic interventions help in developing field capacities to raise accountability issues.

  1. Information Management - We believe that systematic organization and dissemination of information is essential for building and sharing knowledge, raising consciousness, creating consensus, receiving feedback and pushing for change.
  2. Capacity Building - Capacity Building is a core strategy while working towards evidence based policy change. It is our endeavour to develop leadership and operationalise capacities for improved design, delivery and monitoring of quality, accessible health care services.
  3. Partnerships and Collaborations - As a national resource support organization, we essentially work with and through partnerships, collaborations and alliances. These partnerships have been developed with a wide range of organizations, networks and coalitions at the state, national and international level.

Besides the above, CHSJ has adopted the following strategic approaches for various activities undertaken within its four thematic areas:

* Research in Policy and Project Implementation and Development
* Supporting Advocacy Action
* Consultancies
